St. Louis County Parks remove walk nights, carriage rides from Winter Wonderland

Guests will still be able to drive through the two million lights display in the 75-acre park.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Louis County Parks and Recreation announced two big changes coming to a holiday staple in the area.

The walk nights and carriage rides at Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park will no longer be available this coming season.

According to the St. Louis County Parks, the changes were made due to the closure of the St. Louis Carriage Company and losing access to McCarthy Construction parking.

The Parks and Recreation Department assured St. Louisans that Winter Wonderland will not be closing.

Guests will still be able to drive through the two million lights display, listen to holiday music and see 100 festive scenes and characters through the 75-acre park.

For the last 38 years, Winter Wonderland has been a wonderful tradition for St. Louis County and the surrounding area....
