MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — McKelvey Road is closed from Roth Hill to Redcoat drives after a water main break damaged the pavement Friday morning.
The water main was reported before 6 a.m. Friday near the intersection of McKelvey Road and Roth Hill Drive. Missouri American Water said a 20-inch water main caused pavement damage.
Missouri American Water said drivers were being diverted around the area while repairs were being made. They said the closure was expected to last into the afternoon.
While emergency repairs are being made, Missouri American Water warned customers in the area may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure or no water. The alert was expected to end by 3 p.m.
