Woman shot in Dutchtown early Sunday morning

A 46-year-old woman told police she had just turned onto Itaska Street from Virginia Avenue when unknown occupants of a car fired shots at her.

ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in St. Louis’ Dutchtown neighborhood early Sunday morning.

A 46-year-old woman told police she had just turned onto Itaska Street from Virginia Avenue when unknown occupants of a car fired shots at her.

She drove to 7th Street and Russell where she contacted police. The woman was transported to a hospital.
