Lottery player wins $1.5 million with ticket sold in St. Louis County

The winner has until Nov. 4, 2024, to claim the prize.

FLORISSANT, Mo. — Check your tickets! A lucky Missouri Lottery player won a $1.5 million jackpot on a ticket sold in St. Louis County. 

The winning Lotto ticket was sold at QuikTrip, located at 2105 N. Highway 67, in Florissant. The ticket matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing. 

The winning Lotto numbers for May 8 were 1, 2, 8, 22, 41 and 43, according to Missouri Lottery. 

If you have the winning ticket, the Missouri Lottery encourages you to sign the back and keep it in a safe place until you are ready to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed at one of the Lottery's offices in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Kansas City or Springfield. 

The winner can make a claim appointment at MOLottery.com or by calling the Lottery at (573) 751-4050 and choosing option 9, according to a press release.

The winner has until Nov. 4, 2024, to claim the prize. 

The Lotto jackpot is now reset to $1 million for Saturday's drawing.
