2 Missouri Lottery players win $50,000 each on Scratchers tickets

ST. LOUIS — Two lucky Missouri Lottery players won $50,000 each on Scratchers tickets sold in the St. Louis area.

The winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip at 8000 Watson Road in St. Louis. The prize was claimed on June 11. 

“$1,000,000 Black Diamond” is a new $10 Scratchers game offered by the Missouri Lottery. The game began on April 29 and has a grand prize of $1 million.

Another winning ticket was purchased at Schnucks at 1393 Big Bend Blvd. in Twin Oaks. The winner claimed the prize at the Missouri Lottery's St. Louis office on June 13. 

“$5,000,000 Fortune” is another new Scratchers game offered by the Missouri Lottery. The game, which began on May 28, costs $50 with a grand prize of $5 million.

St. Louis County has won more than $207.7 million in lottery prizes, retailers have received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses and more than $76 million in lottery proceeds went to education programs, a press release said.
