LAKE ST LOUIS, Mo. — A Missouri Lottery player struck big by winning a $2 million prize on a $20 ticket.
The Missouri Lottery said a "200X" scratchers ticket worth $2 million was purchased at the Petro Mart gas station located at 463 Hawk Ridge Trail, in Lake St. Louis.
According to the Missouri Lottery website, the "200X" game costs $20 and has more than $1.7 million in unclaimed prizes.
In 2023, there have been 61 total prizes worth $50,000 or more that have been won in St. Charles County.
In the last fiscal year, St. Charles County players have won over $63.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received over $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses and more than $6.3 million in Lottery proceeds have gone to education programs in the country, according to a Missouri Lottery press release.
