Man arrested after cars hit by gunfire outside Florissant Applebee's

FLORISSANT, Mo. — A man has been arrested after cars were hit by gunfire outside the Applebee's Grill and Bar on Lindbergh Boulevard Friday evening.

A Florissant Police Department spokesperson said the shots were fired at around 8:15 p.m. 

Police said no one was hit, but some cars in the parking lot were damaged. 

Police arrested two suspects involved in the shooting. 

On Saturday, warrants were issued on Izaiah Clark for unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

He admitted to being involved in the incident and confessed to shooting a gun in the direction of a group of people.

The second suspect is a juvenile and has been referred to juvenile court.

On Saturday, Applebee's spokesperson Mike Gallagher released the following statement:

The safety of our guests and team members is our highest priority. Our team members in the restaurant acted quickly to call the authorities and escort guests to safety. We’re continuing to cooperate with authorities to thoroughly investigate this isolated incident.
