OKLAHOMA CITY — Authorities say a person suspected of shooting another man during an argument inside an Oklahoma City mall is in custody after turning himself in to police.
Police say investigators identified the male suspect Thursday night and the suspect met officers overnight in the nearby community of Moore.
His name wasn't immediately released.
Thursday's shooting forced Penn Square Mall to close as police spent hours searching stores and clearing out shoppers.
Police say video footage from the mall was found showing the suspect leaving.
The victim was last listed in critical but stable condition at a hospital after being shot in the chest.
Oklahoma City police previously said they had been responding to reports of a shooting at the mall.
