Nearly 12,000 DaVinci brand cribs are being recalled nationwide due to entrapment, fall and cutting hazards.

The recall involves the Reagan, Emily, Jamie Jenny Lind cribs manufactured from May 2012 to December 2012.

A metal bracket connecting the mattress support to the crib can break, creating an uneven sleeping surface or a gap. This could cause a baby to become entrapped, fall or suffer cuts from the broken metal bracket.

There have been ten incident reports, but no injuries. The cribs were sold at target, juvenile product stores and Amazon from May 2012 to December 2013.

Consumers should stop using the cribs and contact DaVinci for a free replacement mattress support which includes replacement brackets. About 11,660 cribs are being recalled.

40 of the cribs were sold in Canada.
