FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - A north St. Louis County bar where two men died in separate incidents in the past year has shut down.

KMOX-AM reportsthe Pirate's Cove closed its doors as the city of Florissant was preparing to revoke its liquor license. That became unnecessary when the bar's landlord evicted the business.

A 63-year-old man died in late October after being beaten by the brother of one of two men he had allegedly shot at Pirate's Cove. That followed the November 2012 beating death of a 44-year-old man during a washers tournament at the bar.
