COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) – Three adults have been charged with disorderly conduct in connection to what police are calling an elaborate home invasion hoax.

The fake invasion was staged early Friday morning in the 1100 block of Hampstead Court. Police received a 911 call from someone who claimed that a woman was being dragged against her will from her house by men dressed in all black and wearing masks.

When police arrived on the scene minutes later, they arrested three adults at gunpoint who were connected to the alleged invasion, and another who had no connection.

Officers later discovered that it was all a hoax.

Two children were at the home during the incident, but they weren't hurt. One of the officers who responded to the call sustained a slight injury.

The suspects have been identified as 40-year-old Amanda Faye Lockhart, 30-year-old Michael Johnson and 29-year-old Nick Tindall, all of Collinsville.

Bond has been set at $15,000. They have each posted bail and have been released from Collinsville Police Department Custody.
