ST. LOUIS — Early voting for the 2024 general election began Sept. 26 in Illinois.
Registered Illinois voters can cast their ballot through Nov. 4, the day before Election Day, without having to provide a reason at the office of their local election authority or an early voting center. Curbside voting is also available at early voting sites.

Ballot-by-mail requests must be received by your local election authority by Oct. 31, and all completed ballots must be postmarked no later than Election Day and received within 14 days of the election.
Voters can also return their completed mail ballot to a drop box location before the close of polls on Nov. 5.
