FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. — During the 2024 general election, Franklin County voters will see races for sheriff, county assessor, county treasurer and public administrator

While there are no county-wide propositions on the Nov. 5 ballot, two municipalities have propositions regarding funding for fire and EMS services.

St. Clair voters will see two local ballot questions: Should the St. Clair County Ambulance District levy an additional 35-cent tax per $100 of assessed valuation to maintain and increase staffing and should the St. Clair Fire Protection District issue $10 million in bonds to maintain fire stations and equipment? Sullivan voters will decide whether to allow the Sullivan Fire Protection District to levy an additional 49-cent tax per $100 of assessed valuation to support fire operations.
