ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County voters are weighing in on multiple local issues during the 2024 general election in addition to the statewide and national races.
On the Nov. 5 ballot are races for prosecuting attorney and three seats on the St. Charles County Council as well as propositions for imposing a 12-cent operating tax increase to fund the Cottleville Fire Protection District and for the Lake St. Louis Fire Protection District to levy an additional 3-cent tax per $100 assessed valuation to provide advanced life support services (ALS). Flint Hill also has a proposition that would impose a 0.5% sales tax to help fund capital projects.
