BELLEVILLE, Ill. — St. Clair County voters are selecting local candidates during the 2024 general election and the statewide and national races.
County posts are up for election on the Nov. 5 ballot.
St. Clair County is voting for a county board chairman. Incumbent Mark Kern is facing challenger Ryan Musick. Jim Gormric is running unopposed for state's attorney. Calvin Dye, Sr., is running against Dean Darnall for county coroner. There are two candidates for circuit clerk: Cindi McDonald and Kinnis Williams, Sr. There is one candidate on the ballot for county auditor: Patty A. Sprague. Jason Madlock and Michael P. Crockett, Jr. are running for county recorder.
