ST. LOUIS — St. Louis City voters are weighing in on several local issues during the 2024 general election in addition to the statewide and national races.
On the Nov. 5 ballot are key races for city treasurer and sheriff after Sheriff Vernon Betts was narrowly defeated in the August primary. Propositions would give the Board of Aldermen more control over the city budget, create a Department of Transportation, cap fines for vacant properties, and impose a 3% fee on short-term rentals.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. 5 On Your Side will have complete election results on KSDK.com and the mobile app. Watch live election coverage on the 5+ mobile app from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.
