ST. LOUIS — Everyone knows Laura Branigan's 1982 hit 'Gloria' has really made a name for itself in the city of St. Louis.
Several radio stations like New Country 92.3, 106.5 The Arch and 105.7 The Point are playing the song in their rotation.
But one radio station is taking it to another level...
If the Blues beat the Dallas Stars in Game 7 on Tuesday night, Y98 FM has committed to playing 'Gloria' for 24 hours straight!
Y98 said, "Since Laura Branigan's "Gloria" has been the theme this year for our St. Louis Blues, Courtney & Company have pledged to play it 24 HOURS STRAIGHT if the Blues defeat the Dallas Stars in the second round of the NHL Playoffs."
Laura Branigan's former manager Kathy Golik still manages Branigan's Twitter account and her feed is flooded with Blues' tweets.
She even gave the Blues a special shout out after a game winner and changed Branigan's Twitter background picture to a Blues' shirt that says, "Play Gloria. St. Louis Blues Hockey."
The Blues host the Stars in Game 7 Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m.
If the Blues take home the series, you can expect 'Glora' to be the number one hit for the next 24 hours in St. Louis.
