(KSDK) -- We are pleased to announce a new addition to our Today In St. Louis team as Rene Knott joins our morning show starting Thursday, October 27.
Rene joins Pat McGonigle, Alexandra Corey, Scott Connell, Garry Seith, Ryan Dean and Kiya Edwards from 5 to 7 a.m. each weekday morning helping our viewers wake up and plan their day.
Pat continues to co-anchor with Alexandra during the first part of our three-hour morning show. Pat will also put his master story crafting skills to use, adding a new dimension of storytelling to the St. Louis early morning news experience.
Rene makes the transition to news anchor after serving as our Sports Director since 2004.
"I have worked along side some wonderful souls in the KSDK sports office. People I say are my best friends," says Rene. "But while it is hard to leave behind all that I have known and people I have loved I also realize the opportunity to grow with Today In St. Louis is one I can't let pass. So I am buying a few alarm clocks so I wake up and get to work on time."
