Reports are indicating the Blues have added some more depth to their group of forwards.

TSN's Bob McKenzie reports the Blues have signed former Capitals forward Nathan Walker to a two-year, two-way contract.

The reported deal will be worth $700,000 at the NHL level in his first year and $300,000 at the AHL level. In his second year he'll make $50,000 more at the AHL level.

Walker is the first Australian to ever play in the NHL. He has one goal and one assist in 12 career regular season games with Edmonton and Washington.

He also played in one postseason game for the 2018 Stanley Cup champion Capitals, registering an assist.
