Canamore then hit a restaurant employee with the hammer who tried to stop the attack.

Two of the victims were taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested Canamore at a home in Webster Groves without incident.

Warrants were issued against Canamore for first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

He is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
