DENVER, N.C. – A Charlotte woman says she made a disgusting discovery when she stopped at a local KFC last week.
Lucy Parker Randall says she stopped at the KFC on Highway 16 in Denver last Friday and ordered a leg and thigh meal.
When she began to eat, that’s when Randall saw what looked like brain, but she believes is something else.
“It looks like a brain but after a lot of research I believe it is a kidney,” Randall said in a Facebook post.
Randall went on to say that she would call the health department the next day and report the incident. Randall said she spent Wednesday morning at her doctor's office being tested for salmonella and parasites after her experience.
