Young Blues fan gets dream experience

Video of him receiving surprise tickets went viral, and the dream didn't stop there.

ST. LOUIS — Jayden Linden, 11, found some internet fame after a video of him getting surprised with Blues tickets went viral.

The video showed him opening a note from his mom saying they were taking a trip to St. Louis for Game 7. Jayden jumped up and down and said a couple of expletives.

Lindsay Linden, captured the moment and sent it to her godparents, who are the parents of Blues player Jaden Schwartz. The Blues posted it on their social media pages, and it has been viewed thousands of times.

“Wouldn't you, when you're a kid, getting your dream come true, wouldn't you be surprised and say the four-letter word?” Jayden said.

Jayden and Lindsay Linden flew in from their home in Alberta, Canada. It was Jayden’s first visit to St. Louis.

“I started liking Jaden Schwartz a lot. That's how I became a Blues fan,” Jayden said.

Jayden and Lindsay were invited to the Blues morning skate, and Jayden also got pucks, autographed hockey sticks and autographs on his sweater.

“I dreamed of this since I started being a Blues fan,” Jayden said. “All I wanted was this. Let's go Blues!”
