Parade goers share excitement for annual Dogtown St. Patrick’s Day celebration sponsored by Scott Credit Union

In addition to the Ancient Order of Hibernians Parade, Dogtown United coordinates an Irish Festival to highlight the unique spirit and vibrant history of the town.

ST. LOUIS — The St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Dogtown is held annually on March 17. In addition to the Ancient Order of Hibernians Parade, Dogtown United coordinates an Irish Festival to highlight the unique spirit and vibrant history of the Dogtown neighborhood.

The KSDK Channel 5 team joined in on the fun and spoke to some of the parade goers near and far.

Our friends at Scott Credit Union were sponsors for this year's parade and walked alongside us as we gave out plenty of goodies. Teresa Gorman shares what it meant for them to be involved, "Being out in the community is fun. It shows that Scott Credit Union is a part of this community and we want to be there for them," Gorman said.
