The third-generation, family-owned business has been serving the St. Louis area since the 70s.
Timothy Clemon is the second generation of the business.
"What originally got me started was my parents. My dad started a company back in 1972 and he took me out on my first job when I was five years old. And from there, I just kind of fell in love with it," he says.
For Timothy, he quite literally has a lifetime of experience. Whether you need the installation of a new system for your home or a repair, Diagnostic Heating and Cooling offers everything you need in HVAC service.
"We do installations for furnaces, installations for air conditioning, for residential and commercial clients. We also do preventative maintenance to make sure that after you get it you can keep it. I don't think anybody can buy a new car every day, just like most people can't buy a new air conditioner, or a new furnace every day," he says.
One lesson Timothy learned from his father is it goes beyond the heating and cooling, it is always about the customer.
"The customer that's in front of you is the most important customer in the world. Every other customer after that, that's the customer after that, but this customer that I have in front of me, that's the one to take really good care of," he says.
And now, Timothy takes those lessons from his father and passes them on to the next generation of heating and cooling professionals at St. Louis Community College.
"It really brings me joy to teach and share information that has been so valuable to me. I like being able to pass that on to whoever it is, whether they're older, they're younger, it doesn't really matter so long as you have the information so you can make the next best move for yourself," he says.
