First, kicking off this Friday, September 20th is the two-day Collinsville Italian Fest! Since 1984, Collinsville, IL has been celebrating the Italian culture and heritage that their city was built on. Everyone is a little bit Italian in Collinsville during the annual Collinsville Italian Fest which is a two-day, family-friendly event. Admission and musical entertainment are free. Try a wide variety of Italian dishes – from Bruschetta to Toasted Ravioli and more. Enjoy two days of food, fun, and entertainment. Have fun with bocce ball and try grape stomping! Also, this Saturday, September 21st you won’t want to miss Rock the Dock at The Loading Dock in Grafton, Illinois. Grab a drink and have fun listening to Live Music! This Saturday the Live Music Lineup kicks off with ‘Yacht Rockers’ from 1-4 p.m. and next up is ‘Big Love: Fleetwood Mac Tribute’ band performing from 7 – 10 p.m. Rock the Dock at The Loading Dock is located at 401 E. Front Street, Grafton, Illinois 62037.
Finally, on Sunday, September 22nd bring the family to Pere Marquette Lodge for the annual Apple Festival! Festivities include apple wine tasting, shopping, live music, kid’s activities, a pumpkin roll, delicious food, and more! The lodge will be hosting a crowd favorite – The Pumpkin Roll at 2 p.m. The Grand prize is a free night’s stay at The Pere Marquette Lodge! Admission is free.
