Friday morning, blood donor Maggie Schmidt, stopped by Show Me St. Louis. Schmidt shared her experience donating blood for the first time using a new mix-reality experience developed by healthcare technology company, Abbott and Blood Centers of America. Schmidt shares how the experience helped her ease her feelings of anxiety with needles. In fact, Schmidt is proud to announce she is now a life long donor.
