ST. LOUIS — “At this point in my life, I had two small children, just gave birth to my daughter and my husband and I were budding heads,” says Chelsea Theodoropoulos, Owner Burn Boot Camp St. Louis.
You might know Chelsea Theodoropoulos as St. louis’ go-to fitness gal! But, before those sweaty high fives, came a struggling mother.
“I was layering on the responsibilities of caring for everyone else with my children, mother in law, husband, and I started to feel like I had no worth, confidence or purpose.”
Living in North Carolina at the time, Chelsea had friends begging her to join them at Burn Boot Camp for years. It was when she finally said yes that everything came back to life!
“But, I saw a piece of myself come alive within me, and it lit a spark that said I am going to come back tomorrow.”
So, she just kept coming…back! Soon, Chelsea became a head trainer before wanting to give back to others beyond a 45 minute camp. She wanted to open up her own Burn Boot Camp.
Now, the owner of 5 Burn Boot Camps in the St. Louis finds joy in watching others discover themselves again just like she did all those years ago. Many other Burn Boot Camp members experience a similar path.
Introducing Kristina Weis.
“I was 210 pounds, I had no direction, no drive in life whatsoever,” says Kristina Weis, Head Trainer at Burn Boot Camp O’Fallon.
The mother of 2 shares that she came to Burn Boot Camp looking for a change.
“So at that point, I took a chance on myself,” says Weis.
She never looked back!
“I started realizing taking care of me was not selfish, taking care of me was allowing me to pour more into my husband, into my kids.”
Now, as the head trainer at Burn Boot Camp O’Fallon, she hopes to inspire others to do the same. It was looking for that strength that had Rhonda Choflet and her husband at Burn Boot Camp’s front door!
“But where we started was lethargic, tired, not inspired, we started down this path,” says Rhonda Choflet, Member of Burn Boot Camp Manchester.
The duo joined in January for their 4-week special, but quickly decided that they needed to commit to one year of feeling the burn.
“And when I increase my weight I am like no, I cannot believe I can do that,” says Choflet. “I am so excited by the changes that are happening.”
Burn Boot Camp helps each member grow to their fullest potential.
