Sponsored: Midwest BankCentre, The Factory at The District share commitment to local businesses, economic growth

I spend a lot of time thinking about how to make this region better, & there's no better way than investing with local people, local banks." - Michael Staenberg

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Midwest BankCentre prides itself on the relationships it has built in the St. Louis community, and one of those relationships is with Michael Staenberg, President of The Staenberg Group.

Michael Staenberg is a friend of Midwest BankCentre and the real estate developer behind The Factory in Chesterfield.

"One day I had this crazy idea that there was really no music or opportunity to have entertainment in a live setting in West County. And chesterfield's been good to me. I've been out here since 1993, and I decided to come up with The Factory," Staenberg said.

The music venue is one of the anchors in the new entertainment complex by Staenberg called The District, which will include 20 to 30 businesses, including restaurants, shops, and other entertainment options designed to appeal to everyone.

The Factory is a great example of the kind of small, main street businesses that Midwest BankCentre supports.

"We currently deal with over 10,000 local mainstreet businesses throughout the Saint Louis area. One of those which is Michael Staenberg and The Factory. The Factory, as we know, is a state of the art, high end music venue and entertainment space that we're extremely proud of," explained Chris Imming, Regional Banking Manager for Midwest BankCentre.

Where you bank matters, Choosing to make a difference in the St. Louis community can be as easy as choosing where you bank. Which is why Staenberg chose to work with Midwest BankCentre.

"The first bank I reached out to do this was Midwest BankCentre, and that was about four or five years ago because I knew they valued local people and I wanted to be part of the local area. And this is really a local item that The District is," Staenberg said.

Midwest Bank Centre and Staenberg are similar in their commitment to supporting local businesses and driving regional economic growth.

"We have a vested interest in Saint Louis community. We have historically and we will for years to come to make sure that Saint Louis is as strong a stable and sustainable as it can be for for the foreseeable future," Imming said.

Staenberg says it’s of the utmost importance to understand that the region is only as good as the local people.

"I really spend a lot of time thinking about how to make this region better. And there's no better way than investing with local people, using local banks, using local construction. And that's how we run our business," Stenberg said.

Much like Midwest BankCentre.
