It is time for our Great Rivers and Routes Weekend Report! Here is what you can expect across the river:
- On Friday, kick off the holidays in downtown Alton with the annual tree lighting event. The fun starts with Santa at 6 followed by caroling, cookies, and hot cocoa on tap at this free event.
- Saturday visit the Litchfield Museum! The history of Litchfield and Route 66 come to life in this museum. Enjoy neon signs and an extensive photo gallery.
- Sunday, stop by the West End Service Station! This was a prime spot for route 66 travelers in Edwardsville to take a break and get their cars serviced prior to 1964.
