Sponsored: Touchdown! Mizzou's Brady Cook joins team Midwest BankCentre

Midwest BankCentre and Mizzou quarterback, Brady Cook, team up to empower young people to take charge of their financial future.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Football is back, and Tigers quarterback, Brady Cook, is a busy guy.

"Kind of transitioning into the season schedule so it's ramping up," Cook says.

This summer, Brady joined another team. Team Midwest BankCentre.

"Midwest BankCentre is extremely proud and excited to announce our new partnership with Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook, with the combined goal of enabling young people and encouraging them to be able to take charge of their financial futures," says Chris Imming, the Regional President of Commercial Banking at Midwest BankCentre.

"I know the founder of the bank. I know he's from St Louis. I know that they do more than just banking. They care about the community. They care about causes, whether it's in St Louis or Columbia," Cook says.

One cause close to Brady’s heart is Coyote Hill. The Columbia-based foster care service gives children in foster care a safe place to be a child in mid-Missouri. Midwest BankCentre provided the opportunity for the kiddos at Coyote Hill to attend Brady’s football camp.

"Orv, (Orvin T. Kimbrough) the founder of the bank, was a foster kid. So, that connection also with, you know, I've worked with Coyote Hill now for four years. I've volunteered there. I've spent time with the kids out at Coyote Hill, so that relationship and that synergy, it matched perfectly," Cook says.

"He's a leader and a role model, both on and off the field, and our shared commitment to community service aligns seamlessly with each other," Imming says.

As for banking, Brady says Midwest BankCentre makes it easy for a busy college student.

"It takes about five minutes online. It's very minimal. I got set up really quickly. And just being able to bank online is huge, obviously, whether I'm traveling, whether I'm at an away game or a road trip in the off-season, knowing that I have 24/7 access to my bank, all my accounts, it's perfect," Cook says.

And it’s the perfect time to take charge of your financial future and join Brady on team Midwest BankCentre.
