ALTON, Ill. — It is time for our Great Rivers and Routes Weekend Report! Here is what you can expect across the river:
1. Throughout the weekend, stop by the Madison County Fair for food, competition, and entertainment. Watching the rodeo, enjoying carnival rides, or eating deep-fried everything is a must-do for the entire family.
2. Also, happening this weekend, visit the Riverside Flea Market! One of the largest flea markets in the region, visitors can shop over 60 vendors with everything from antiques, furniture, skincare, jewelry, and more!
3. On Sunday, be sure to stop by Collinsville’s annual Smokin' on Main Barbecue competition and festival. Enjoy top BBQ food and drink vendors from near and far alongside live entertainment! It kicks off at 11 a.m.
