OAKLAND, Calif. — Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry are the first brothers to ever meet in the Conference Finals in NBA history.
As for dad and mom, Dell and Sonya Curry, this isn’t the worst scenario to be in as parents… actually it’s a win-win to be able to watch both of them play.
Although, the parents are trying to figure out who they are going to root for and apparently they decided to flip a coin…
The sibling face off is a top trend on social media right now and many people are wondering how this series is going to play out between the two.
Oakland's local station FOX2 KTVU shared their story on Twitter about how the Curry parents will represent their sons.
NBA's Twitter account also posted several photos of the Curry brothers showing one another some respect by holding up each other's jerseys.
Apparently, Steph Curry predicted this outcome and NBA writer for ESPN Royce Young shared a message Steph had for Seth after the Trail Blazers' game on Sunday night.
While Steph clearly gets all the attention with being perhaps the best three-point shooter in NBA history, Seth had a pretty solid year himself.
And between Durant’s injury, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum’s strong performances during the playoffs and the family showdown, this series should be an exciting one.
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals starts Tuesday night in Oakland.
