ARLINGTON, Texas — The University of Missouri's Brady Cook, Cody Schrader and Luther Burden III are all having tremendous seasons for the Tigers.
Schrader has 1,500 rushing yards, the highest per game in the country, Burden has nearly 1,200 receiving yards and Cook had 3,000 passing yards and 20 touchdowns.
"I think the coolest thing about all three is they really don't care who gets the credit. They just want to win. They just want to win football games," head coach Eliah Drinkwitz said.
Now, all of them are playing in the Cotton Bowl against The Ohio State University, trying to win their 11th game of the season.
"There's been games where Cody's the man and we celebrate it, and there's been games where Luther's the man and it was celebrated," he said. "And I think at the end of the day, that's what's made our season so much fun, is there wasn't the drama. There was just, let's win and let's find a way to win."
Quarterback Brady Cook will start against the Buckeye's Devin Brown, who will be making his first start for Ohio State.
The Cotton Bowl Classic between Mizzou and Ohio State will start at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
