CHICAGO — St. Louis native Jonathan Owens' journey to and from Paris for the 2024 Olympics was featured in a reality sports documentary series.

The Chicago Bears were selected to be featured in "Hard Knocks" a sports documentary series produced by NFL Films and HBO. "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears" features an in-depth perspective of the team as they prepare for the 2024 season.

The 29-year-old graduated from Christian Brothers College High School where he played football before attending Missouri Western State University for college. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 and signed with the Houston Texans the next season.

Legendary gymnast Simeone Biles and Owens connected through social media while both working and training in Texas. After two years, the couple got engaged and married in 2023.

Owens played for the Green Bay Packers for one season before joining the Bears.

A clip posted by NFL Films showed Owens Facetiming Biles before his flight because she was missing her pups while in Paris:
