The St. Louis Rams' 2015 preseason will feature one of the best quarterbacks in the league, another team trying to move to Los Angles, Jeff Fisher's former team and another rendition of the Governor's Cup.
In the first week of the preseason the Rams will play in Oakland against the Raiders. Some have talked about the possibility of the Raiders ending up in St. Louis if the Rams move to LA, so this game should have intrigue beyond the third string implications of the standard preseason opener.
The second game will be the Jeff Fisher bowl, a battle of Fisher's current and former teams. The game will be aired nationally on Aug. 23 and will feature the Tennessee Titans, who struggled mightily with a 2-14 record last season.
The Rams will play host to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3. St. Louis holds a 3-1 lead in the preseason series. The teams met in the preseason in 2011 in St. Louis and 2012 in Indianapolis.
The 2015 preseason slate will wrap up with a renewal of the Governor's Cup series as the Rams host the Chiefs. The Rams are 14-8 against Kansas City in the preseason with the last matchup coming in 2012 at the Edward Jones Dome.
The times and dates of the Rams' other three preseason contests will be announced at a later date.
