ST. LOUIS — Most people that have a lifelong dream will do just about anything to make that dream happen.
That is what this St. Louis native is doing...
Jordan Harold, a former Mizzou football player, stood outside the Carolina Panthers practice on Monday afternoon holding a sign that said, "Will pass for hot wings. I slipped through the cracks."
This isn't the first time Harold has used this tactic. This is exactly how he earned a spot on the Mizzou football roster just a few years ago.
Harold had a full scholarship at Northwest Missouri State but transferred to Mizzou in 2015 to fulfill his dream to play football at a Division 1 school.
He waited outside the Missouri Athletic Training Complex to ask former defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski for a shot at making the football team.
Harold started as a walk on at MU and eventually turned into a starter and was offered a scholarship.
Harold doesn't care about the money, which is why he is offering to play for hot wings.
Fox46 in Charlotte was able to get Harold on video and he shared their post on his own Instagram and Twitter account with a caption stating, 'How bad do you want it?'
Apparently, Harold's efforts aren't going unnoticed...
Will Kunkel from Fox46 gave an update on his Twitter account that said, "The Panthers tell me Jordan's contact info and background at Mizzou Football has been passed to our pro scouting department."
Like Harold said, it does take a lot of humility to do something like this.
Let's hope the Panthers give him a shot at a tryout... After all, he's only asking for some hot wings.
