St. Louis CITY SC to play in renamed Energizer Park after partnership announcement

The MLS team in St. Louis has been wildly successful with fans, selling out its park for two straight seasons.

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis CITY SC announced Thursday that its CityPark home field will be known as Energizer Park starting in 2025 after securing a major partnership with the battery and portable lighting giant.

“We are proud of and committed to St. Louis,” said Energizer President and CEO Mark Levine at the unveiling of the new look Thursday. “This is our home.”

The Clayton-based company joins a list of supporters for the MLS club.

St. Louis CITY SC CEO Carolyn Kindle said she hoped the partnership would continue the club’s efforts towards helping revitalize downtown St. Louis.

“Energizer aligns with CITY SC in so many ways – it’s an innovative brand that delivers and embodies long-lasting energy, equaling the passion and energy of our fans on matchdays," Kindle said. "Through this partnership (Energizer) shows its commitment to improving the St. Louis region."

“We cannot wait to see fans pack Energizer Park and soak in this amazing atmosphere,” Levine said.

St Louis SC has one of the most ardent fan bases in Major League Soccer, as it has averaged 100% attendance at the 22,000-seat pitch the past two seasons.
