ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Cardinals’ player Matt Carpenter created his very own salsa last fall and it was a major success after hitting the shelves at Schnucks.
Carpenter decided to keep his recipe trend going and is launching another original item and this time, it’s cereal.
‘Carpenter’s Crunch’ will be sold exclusively at Schnucks starting Friday, May 24.
The Honey Nut Toasted Oats cereal is packaged in a limited edition collector’s box featuring the third baseman.
In addition, Schnucks will donate a portion of the sales of the cereal to the Folds of Honor foundation.
The organization provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of military services members who were killed or disabled while serving our country.
“As the St. Louis hometown grocer, Schnucks is once again proud to partner with Matt Carpenter to offer our customers an exciting and exclusive product,” said Schnucks Breakfast Category Manager Ranse Streng.
