ST. LOUIS - Kyle McClellan is the pride of Hazelwood West.

He's a local success story who battled injuries and the competition. He made it to the Cardinals, won 12 games one season and became a World Champion with the Redbirds.

After retiring, Kyle has dedicated his life to helping the orphans of Haiti. He brings water, food and supplies. He is now trying to bring baseball to the Haiti and is getting some help from other former Cardinals like Andy Van Slyke.

The website to help is Braceforimpact46.com. The other organization they have partnered with is www.respirehaiti.org.

Frank Cusumano has more on a special night for the charity.
