Cardinals-Braves game Tuesday postponed, split doubleheader on Wednesday

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves game Tuesday night has been postponed due to weather.

The team posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating the start time for Tuesday night's game had been delayed due to inclement weather. The game was eventually postponed as thunderstorms continued in the area.

The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Wednesday. The first game will begin at 12:45 p.m. with gates opening at 11:15 a.m. The second game will begin at its original scheduled time at 6:15 p.m. with gates opening at 4:45 p.m.

and the second will be at its original time of 6:15 p.m.

Fans who originally had tickets to Tuesday's game will be permitted into Busch Stadium for the 12:45 p.m. game. The Cardinals also said fans who purchased tickets and were in attendance for Tuesday's game will be sent a ticket voucher electronically next week for a future 2024 Cardinald Monday-Thursday game.
