ST. LOUIS — What a way to end the night.
The St. Louis Cardinals won off a walk-off grand slam Wednesday night, but they weren't the only ones in the organization to do so. In fact, three of their minor league teams also had walk-off wins yesterday.
The Cardinals finished off a comeback win against the Milwaukee Brewers in extra innings. Nolan Arenado hit a grand slam to beat the Brewers 10-6.
The Memphis Redbirds, the team's Triple-A affiliate, won their game against the Charlotte Knights off a walk-off sac fly. First basemen Alfonso Rivas III hit the sac fly to help the team win 8-7.
In Double-A, the Springfield Cardinals beat the Tulsa Drillers off a walk-off single. Just the game prior, they also had a walk-off grand slam.
The Peoria Chiefs, the High-A affiliate of St. Louis, won off a 2-run, walk-off homer to beat the Fort Wayne TinCaps 3-2. Darlin Moquete hit the comeback winner Wednesday night.
