Cardinals advice if you couldn't get tickets? Keep checking

"There's different returns coming from different sources. Always check the website. You never know something might be something available,” Dan Farrell said.

ST. LOUIS — At the Busch Stadium ticket counter Thursday morning, some fans scored.

“Standing room ticket,” said Pete Butler, as held up his single ticket.

“He said, ‘They’re going fast,’ and I said, ‘I'd like some tickets for whatever I can get’. I got both games, very lucky,” said Kevin Thorpe.

Others struck out.

“They're going like hotcakes for this weekend. So, I couldn't get two together for the right price,” said Gayle Hornsey.

Fans who are looking for tickets should keep checking the Cardinals.com, said Dan Farrell, Cardinals Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“Sometimes, the players’ allotment have returns and there's different returns coming from different sources. Always check the website. You never know something might be something available,” Farrell said.

If you cannot get inside Busch, you can party outside.

On Friday, there will be a pep rally at Ballpark Village along Clark. It starts at 4 p.m.

On Saturday, the pep rally begins at noon.

“I will be down here after work, ready for the pep rally and hanging out outside,” said Mary Hannon.
