ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Cardinals fans likely will be able to catch next season's games on Prime Video.

On the eve of a court hearing that will determine its viability as a business, Diamond Sports Group reached a long-negotiated multiyear agreement with Amazon to place all of its local FanDuel Sports Network streaming apps on Prime Video as add-on channels.

The development should bolster Diamond’s case Thursday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court that it can remain solvent going forward. Judge Christopher Lopez is expected to rule on Diamond’s reorganization plan either after Thursday's hearing or potentially Friday if there are expected objections from Major League Baseball.

The St. Louis Cardinals recently reached a multiyear renewal deal with Diamond giving FanDuel Sports Network Midwest (formerly Bally Sports Midwest) the Major League Baseball team's local television rights, both linear and digital. FanDuel Sports Network Midwest also televises St. Louis Blues' games and Diamond previously reached a deal to air National Hockey League games, including Blues games, in the ongoing 2024-25 season.
