Looking for Friday's Cardinals game? Here's how to watch

The St. Louis Cardinals will face the Minnesota Twins at 7:10 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 23, at Target Field.

MINNEAPOLIS — Looking for the St. Louis Cardinals game? Friday night's game will stream exclusively on Apple TV+. 

The Cardinals will face the Minnesota Twins at 7:10 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 23, at Target Field. This will be the first game of a three-game series between the teams.

St. Louis is coming off a series win against the Milwaukee Brewers, winning two out of the three-game series. The Cardinals won Wednesday night off a walk-off grand slam by Nolan Arenado and again Thursday by shutting out the Brewers 3-0. The team is currently five games back from the final National League Wild Card spot.

Minnesota dropped the first two games of their series against the San Diego Padres but won the third game 11-4. They are two games back behind the Cleveland Guardians for the top spot in the American League Central Division and are currently in the final spot in the AL Wild Card standings.

Friday's game will be exclusively streamed on Apple TV+, not on the usual Bally Sports Midwest broadcast. 

Apple and MLB are continuing their partnership to host "Friday Night Baseball" on Apple TV+. It is a weekly doubleheader with live pre- and post-game shows on Friday nights.

How to Watch

Fans will be able to access “Friday Night Baseball” from the Apple TV app with an Apple TV+ subscription. To access “Friday Night Baseball” games on Apple TV+, fans will need to follow these steps:

  • Launch the Apple TV app and select the game directly from there.

  • From the MLB.TV app, tap on Apple TV+ Game to be redirected to the Apple TV app (where available).
