ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Cardinals will be in action at Busch Stadium on Thursday for the first time in the 2024 Major League Baseball season!
Baseball fans will head to downtown St. Louis to watch their Cardinals play the home opener. Whether you're planning to root for the Redbirds in the bleachers, stands or at home, here's everything you need to know.
What time is the Cardinals game?
The first pitch will be at 3:15 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 4.
Who are the Cardinals playing?
The Miami Marlins come to town for a three-game series against the Cardinals. Miami is still looking for its first win of the season after getting swept in a four-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates and a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels.

What channel is the Cardinals game on?
For fans who won't be able to watch from the stands, you can watch the game on Bally Sports Midwest or through the Bally Sports app. You can also tune into KMOX 1120 AM, 98.7 FM or one of the other stations in the Cardinals Radio Network to hear the game.
Extended coverage on Baly Sports Midwest will begin at 1:30 p.m. and include the pregame ceremonies and introductions.

Will the Clydesdales be at the home opener?
It wouldn’t be the Cardinals home opener in St. Louis without the Budweiser Clydesdales!

What's new at Busch Stadium?
In preparation for the 2024 season, Busch Stadium underwent some changes. Fans can enjoy a new area in the center field pavilion that features an arcade with video games, ski-ball and a fast pitch simulator. The Bowtie Bar has been replaced with the new 703 Club, an all-inclusive area with wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta and a full-service bar.
Several new food areas including Freddy's Frozen Custard and FarmTruk have opened.
Who's performing the National Anthem?
A country singer Michael B. Whit will perform before the Cardinals home opener on Thursday,
"I'm deeply honored to sing the National Anthem at the Cardinals' home opener," Whit wrote in the comments of a 5 On Your Side Facebook post announcing the performance. "To the fans, your passion and dedication to our team and community inspire me to give nothing but my best.
