ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues have signed defenseman and St. Louis native Chris Butler to a one-year, two-way contract.
Butler appeared in all 82 games with Calgary last season. The 27-year-old has also represented the United States three times, including at the 2013 World Championships.
He graduated from Chaminade College Prep and University of Denver before he was drafted by Buffalo in 2005.
