St. Louis — 30 years before #RoarBacon became a rallying cry for epic comebacks, the St. Louis Blues pulled off arguably the greatest come from behind victory in the team's playoff history. The Monday Night Miracle.

It was May 12, 1986. The Blues were facing elimination in Game 6 of the Conference Finals against the Calgary Flames. Things didn't look good. With about 12 minutes left in regulation, the Blues were down 5-2 in front of their home crowd at the Arena. That's when the miracle began to take shape.

Brian Sutter scored and Greg Paslawski would add two goals to force overtime. Then in the extra frame, Doug Wickenheiser would cement himself in St. Louis Blues lore, burying a rebound for the win and sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The Blues would lose Game 7 in Calgary, but the Monday Night Miracle would live on as perhaps the most exciting playoff game in Blues history.

Here's hoping the 2016 Blues, who advanced to the Western Conference Finals Wednesday night, have more excitement in store for fans 30 years later.
