Blues assign Dunn, Barbavesh and Tage to AHL

The moves come following the Blues 7-4 loss against the Panthers Tuesday night.

ST. LOUIS — The Blues announced Wednesday the club assigned defenseman Vince Dunn to the AHL's Chicago Wolves, as well as forwards Ivan Barbavesh and Tage Thompson to the San Antonio Rampage.

Dunn, 21, has posted seven points — three goals and four assists — and eight penalty minutes through 39 games with the Blues during the 2017-18 season. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round, 56th overall, of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Barbavesh, 22, has recorded five points — one goal and four assists — in 17 games with the Blues this year, as well as eight points — four goals and four assists — in 18 games with the Wolves. Barbavesh, a Moscow, Russia native, was originally drafted in the second round, 33rd overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Thompson, 20, has tallied five points — three goals and two assists — through 15 games for the Blues this year. The forward has additionally posted 16 points — seven goals and nine assists — in 24 games with the Rampage. He was originally drafted by the blues in the first round, 26th overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

The Blues fell 7-4 to the Panthers Tuesday to fall 26-17-3 on the season.
