Blues injuries change lineup for weekend games

Hutton and Upshall will not be available for the Friday night game against the Canucks and the Saturday game in Columbus.

ST. LOUIS, Mo.– The Blues have injury updates, as both Carter Hutton (neck) and Scottie Upshall (sprained MCL) both participated in the morning skate Friday but will not be available for games tonight and Saturday in Columbus.

"He's getting there," Yeo said of Upshall. "He's out for this weekend, but we'll re-evaluate him after the weekend.

"[Hutton] be out for the weekend as well and similar to 'Uppy,' we'll re-evaluate him at the start of the week next week."

Nikita Soshnikov did not skate Friday and was ruled out for the game with an upper-body injury.

Yeo said he was not sure when Soshnikov was injured but he did take a big hit in the third period from Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid.

"Day to day," Yeo said. "I would say that we're not exactly sure when it happened."

That means Oskar Sundqvist will remain in the lineup.
