Laila Anderson, the Blues superfan and good-luck charm, will be in the building for Game 7.
The Blues announced the good news in a video they tweeted out Tuesday night.
We were introduced to Laila back in November 2018 when she was looking for a bone marrow donor. In December 2018, she got the good news that there was a perfect match.
Anderson was diagnosed with a rare disease called ‘HLH.’ The disease is so rare, only 15 other children in the world have been diagnosed with it. During her time in the hospital, Kelly Chase and Alexander Steen visited her.
Fast forward to May 2019, and for the past four months she’s only been able to go home and the hospital. Her mom surprised her with the news that she’ll be able to see the Blues take on the Sharks on Wednesday in a suite at the Enterprise Center.
Since then, she has become the Blues good luck charm and even tried to take Frank Cusumano's job!
